Lily Bevan

Lily Bevan (writer/actor) has written two collections of monologues: 'Pheasant Plucker' published by Samuel French and 'Zoo and Twelve Comic Monologues For Women’ published by Nick Hern and is featured in Nick Hern's Contemporary Monologues for Women: Volume 2. She has written and performed Nationally and Internationally including for the Globe Theatre, Old Vic, Donmar and West End. The cast for her BBC Radio 4 series 'Talking to Strangers' co-written with Sally Phillips included Dames Emma Thompson and Olivia Coleman. Lily has taught writing and performing workshops at RADA and the Actor's Centre and now on Zoom.

Lily trained at RADA. Recent acting work includes: 'As You Like It', 'Dr Faustus' and 'Three Minutes to Midnight' (Globe Theatre - Winter Season & Summer Season) and Lily wrote and performed new play 'The French Welcome - a feminine response to Dr Faustus' also for the Globe Theatre 2019. Lily is currently participating in the Channel 4/Sonia Friedman playwriting scheme 2019/20.

Lily has attended Ecole Phillipe Gaulier, The Royal Court Young Writers Programme and The Bush Emerging Writers Group and was short listed for the Funny Women Awards. Lily is represented by Laura Rourke at Independent Talent Group.
